Liquorice Bootlace - Old English Sweet Collection
Liquorice Bootlace is an abstract design with striped couching detail, hand stitched onto textured grey leatherette. Hand crafted sequin embellishments include leather cord, foam hair rollers, plastic tags and hand dyed cotton tapes .
This artwork was stitched in 2018 and forms a part of the Old English Sweet collection - inspired by the nostalgia, playful shapes and vibrant colours of sweets and candies.
The textile is stretched and laced onto acid free mount board. With a deep rebate white wooden frame, complete with glazing. It is ready to hang and is strung on the reverse.
Sizing inc. frame approx 28cm x 38cm x 5.5cm.
