Blackcurrant & Liquorice - Old English Sweet Collection

Blackcurrant & Liquorice is an abstract embellished design, hand stitched onto layered black leatherette and mesh. Hand crafted sequin embellishments include dyed tile spacers, plastic packaging sequins, painted square metal washers and embroidery detail.

This artwork was stitched in 2018 and forms a part of the Old English Sweet collection - inspired by the nostalgia, playful shapes and vibrant colours of sweets and candies.

The textile is stretched and laced onto acid free mount board. With a deep rebate white wooden frame, complete with glazing. It is ready to hang and is strung on the reverse.

Sizing inc. frame is approx 20cm x 20cm x 5cm.
