Adornment - Encrusted Collection

Adornment is a bold 3D embellished artwork that uses high contrast colours against black and white to achieve a striking result. The embellishments are a combination of handcrafted and recycled elements including; painted metal washers, dyed plastic tubing, packaging sequins, foiled leatherette and hand dyed threads. The artwork is hand stitched onto a black linen base.

Adornment is part of the Encrusted collection, inspired by maximalist, over-embellished and detailed surfaces and intricate patterns using simple shapes. Most pieces in this collection are stitched on dark bases to allow the colours and shapes to really pop.

The artwork is stretched, laced and mounted within a deep rebate solid black frame with non-reflective glazing for beautiful clarity of artwork. Size inc. frame 42.5cm x 42.5cm. Frame is strung on the reverse ready to hang.
