SALE - SECONDS - This artwork has a small scuff on the black frame and corner of mount board, the stitched artwork is not affected. It is still in great condition just not perfect!
Squiggle is a fun abstract design with a contrast colour pop, hand stitched on a black textile base. The featured repeating embellished motifs include couched rubber squiggles, recycled cardboard semi-circles, wool, fused waste bubblewrap sequins and mixed beads.
This design is inspired by doodling and material manipulation, looking at how certian media distorts and loops when couched and stitched on a surface.
The finished artwork is stretched and laced onto acid free foam board, and stitched onto a soft pink mount board. This is an unglazed artwork, and can be gently cleaned with a soft duster if needed. Artwork size inc. frame 33.5cm x 33.5cm x 4cm.
