Jewel Anemone

An original hand stitched 3D textile sculpture - displayed in a glass globe bell jar with hand painted wooden base. Created using a combination of recycled materials including: hand dyed nylon washers, wire, plastic tubing, linen thread and coloured sequins - in rich jewel tones. This particular sculpture is inspired by coral reef floral and fauna. The sculpture can be displayed from any angle, with new details and patterns visible from each side.

The glass globe can be easily removed for gentle cleaning. Approx size of sculpture inc. globe is 13.5 cm diameter base - 16cm H 15cm W.

Jessica Grady is an embroidery artist based in West Yorkshire, England. She rescues waste materials, and transforms each one into exciting embellishments that she hand stitches onto textiles. Her work is playful and innovative, and shows her passion for textiles and embroidery.
