Biotic Reef

An intricately hand stitched and embellished 3D textile sculpture - stitched on a lime green perspex base. Created using a combination of recycled mixed media materials including: plastic coffee pods, electrical cable sleeve, punched foiled leather sequins, wool, foam hair rollers and metallic wallpaper scraps.

This particular sculpture is inspired by the delicate landscape and explosion of colour within a coral reef.

The sculpture can be displayed from any angle, with new details and patterns visible from each side. This sculpture is is shipped with a clear perspex domed cover for protection, which can be left on or removed for display. It can be displayed flat on a surface, or alternatively mounted on a wall.

Sculpture sizing is approx 26 cm diameter perspex base - scultpure itself is approx 14cm H X 14cm W.
